I'm really tired, but...

... here are some pretty pictures from vacation in Southwest Florida. :)

This is a rainbow we saw on our first day there. It was the only time it rained all week. I have never seen such a big rainbow. Our condo was on the 14th floor, so we had a beautiful view!

That's all for now... I have some beach photos, but I took them with my disposable film camera, because the digital was too nice to risk dropping in the sand. The vacation was so relaxing... laid by the pool (SPF 30)... went shopping... went out to eat... went to the beach (SPF 45)... sleep, repeat, for a week. Ahh. My new profile photo is also from vacation, but rest assured it was one of the few occasions all week I spent time on my hair and makeup. (Who needs to be glam on vacation?)

Anyway, it's been a long week of covering a murder trial... must have sleep. More soon.

Hmm, I do love glazed donuts. However, I don't think I'm "plain," per se. Maybe I'm more of a long john with chocolate icing and cream filling. Now that's a great donut.

I'm in the process of setting up (well, having the boyfriend set up) my new laptop in my apartment, so surely there will be a whirlwind of posts when that is accomplished. Pictures from Florida, glorious Florida... maybe some of the shabby chic (mostly shabby) curtains I recently sewed for my bedroom window.

My big sister is inheriting my 5-year-old desktop. Yes, folks, she's a 3rd year grad student who hasn't had a computer since undergrad! Whaaat? How did she survive up until now? The mind reels. In any case, see you all soon. Take the donut quiz -- it's good times. Oh, and check out Sal in his kilt!
